Glenrothes

The Glenrothes distillery is located near the burn of Rothes in the heart of the highlands, in the mountainous region of Scotland called Speyside which is renowned for the incomparable flavour of its single malt whisky. The Glenrothes distillery has been recognized by specialists for generations for the quality of its products and its professionalism. That is why the wine and spirits merchant, Berry Bros & Rudd, owners of the Cutty Sark brand, decided that they would keep a few barrels every years and age it to its full maturity. In the cool humid atmosphere found in all the best distilleries, the Glenrothes single malt is carefully monitored, nosed and tasted for several long years. Only when it reaches perfect maturity do the master distilers give their approval for it to be bottled.
