The Société Gaston de Lagrange is one of the youngest in Cognac, dating only from 1961. Gaston de Lagrange decided to make a Cognac honouring the finest traditions, a "top of the line" Cognac of the highest quality. A product of the greatest prestige: this was the goal that was set!
Production went up considerably, sales overseas increased. Faced with the rapid success of its products, the Société Gaston de Lagrange adapted to its market and expanded rapidly. Modern cellars were built at Châteaubernard near the town of Cognac.
In order to make a very high quality Cognac with all the care required for a top class product that is close to perfection, the cellarmaster contemplates, noses, feels and classifies the eaux-de-vie that form part of the Gaston de Lagrange Cognac. His role is essential since blending is the operation which finally gives birth to the Cognac.
With a strong presence in more than 50 countries, Société Gaston de Lagrange is one of the ten largest brands in the world. Its range of products is without doubt one of the most elegant in the entire Cognac region.
