Donini

The history of the brand Donini started accidentally at the end of the 19th century in a bar located at no. 7 Durini Street, in the heart of "Old Milan". Many of the loyal customers of the bar, who belonged to the "beautiful people" of the time, used to stay on even after closing time to chat with the bar-owner, Mr. Donini, while indulging in a good glass of wine. It was not long before Mr. Donini was appointed by his customers to select the best wines for their private cellars. The step from a mere hobby to a commercial activity was very short. Mr. Donini's heirs decided to keep their father's love for wine alive and decided to coin the trademark Donini. From that moment onward the Donini brand has developed a wide selection of high quality wines. Though the company has changed in size over the years, the philosophy has not; the best care is still devoted to the research and purchase of premium quality wines. This explains why the Donini trademark has established itself successfully in Italy and abroad, and is still regarded as a "seal of guarantee".
