Château Mornag

It is in this context and climate of commercial freedom that the Union of the Wine Co-operatives of Tunisia "UCVT" was established on February 10, 1948 by six wine co-operatives: Takelsa, Bir-Drassen, Tunis-Nahli, Grombalia and Michaud (Ghezala). With the new millennium, in a more and more open economic environment, the UCCV can now count, with instigated policies of quality development and improvement for decades, on significant assets: the creation of a focused development and quality, the reinforcement of the technical structures of management by high level junior managers, ISO 9002 certification of all UCCV bottling units, the introduction and development of a partnership between member coops and the UCCV, on the one hand, and between growers and coops on the other hand, the dynamic commercial exchanges, its active and qualified management, as well as the creation of companies for agriculture advancement and upgrading in partnership with German and French companies.
Because of all these elements, the UCCV has all the tools at hand to progress, develop and ensure the success of its upgrading program, and in so contribute to the whole of the Tunisian wine sector.
