Great enterprises often spring from small beginnings. And in fact the Bolla story has its origins in the small town of Soave where Abele Bolla, a genial host, ran a small inn, which went by the name of Il Gambero. The inn was much appreciated for its comfortable beds, genuine food and, above all, its excellent home-produced wine. Today, Bolla continues the family tradition of making quality wine with the most up-to-date technology with the finest grapes. Technological improvements include two new automated bottling lines at the Bolla winery in Pedemonte. Bolla is also one of the first Italian wine producers to obtain a Quality System Certificate from Norway's Det Norske Veritas. The aim is to guarantee consistently high levels of quality and service and maintain maximum working efficiency.
